My Forgeworld venerable dreadnought Argandus from my space marine chapter. This model's due for an update, changing it to a 'Furioso' dreadnought as I'm using the new Blood Angels codex for my chapter.
Word of warning to anyone looking to buy Forgeworld resin models, they can be an arse to paint even after cleaning because of the texture. This one was difficult because the head just didn't want to stay where I wanted it >_<;
Here's a little back story to this dreadnought:
Before his internment within the armoured sarcophagus of his current shell, Argandus had recently returned to the chapter from duty with the Deathwatch.
As with most other Swords of Fortis space marines he chose to fight within the Death Knights, an elite gathering of warriors dedicated to the teachings of their chapter and taking the battle to the enemy.
After pushing back an Ork horde to its base camp, the xenos had been driven back into small pockets of warbands. When he and his fellow bretheren found one of the warbands the warboss, who had led the entire Ork army, lumbered up to tear them apart.
He dispatched the others before he turned to face Argandus, the two fought in hand to hand for several hours, until finally Argandus succeded in driving his chainsword through the warboss' skull, but leaving himself open the warboss tore through his chestplate with a gigantic power claw. With the warboss dead the rest of the Orks soon fell into dissaray and were defeated.
When apothacaries found him he was barely alive, and was given the honour of being placed inside the sarcophagus of an ancient pre-heresy MKIV dreadnought.

I know too how difficult is to paint forge stuff... but hey I realized that toothbrush and dishwashing stuff makes help a lot! I did and no problems any more with forge stuff...
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
